I'm having trouble with downloading the latest patch for Borderlands 2. I have just bought the game last week. Major updates are coming to Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection on Thursday, October 29! These updates will contain bug fixes, performance improvements, and more.
The updates will be available worldwide on all available platforms (depending on title) on October 29. The updates are scheduled to roll out in the early morning (PST) on Xbox 360 (BL2/BLTPS) and Xbox One (BLTHC) and by early afternoon (PST) on PlayStation 3 (BL2/BLTPS), PlayStation 4 (BLTHC), and Steam (BL2/BLTPS).

Your iso should now be patched. You may want to back up the iso first, but drag the language patch file onto the patcher exe and type the name of your iso when required and hit enter. There are some strings that were kept untranslated because they are useless, like the summaries of the story in Theater Mode or some debug messages from the Theater that became unused on the final version of the game. Due to the nature of the connectivity issue fixes, the Xbox One update will be a large download.
A new update for Borderlands 2 is scheduled to roll out on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in the coming days, adding support for next Tuesday's release of the second Headhunter add-on (The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler) and several bug fixes, including some previously available as Hot Fixes.
